RESULT : As the images taken from the video-microscope are examined for the reason of the unlevelness on the fabric (50:50 % Acrylic:Wool);                           

 

1.Existence of hues between the fibers,

2.Existence of undyed wool fiber

are determined.

 

     The unlevelness on the fabric results from the mistakes in the dying process.

RESULT :

During the examinations performed with video-microscope, it is observed that the yarn breaks into two pieces, edges are slenderized and fledged in each of the two examples.Therefore, the problem arises from a mechanical effect.The burrs may exist around paries of the dye machines can lead to this problem.

RESULT :

 

During the examinations, it is observed that in the problematic regions, fabric’s back-surface of the nap yarns are undyed.The fact that different light permeability is point at issue leads to unlevelness images on the surface of the fabric.

The reason of the problem is homogenous hydrophility is not obtained during the pretreatment.

RESULT :

It is observed that the stains on the surface of the fabric are cleaned when washed with water.Therefore this is the indication of the precipitation or contamination during the dying process resulting from the discrepancy of the chemicals.

RESULT :

On the yarn; residues of the paraffin applied during the transmission or knit oil at the knitting stage on the fabric are not removed exactly during the washing process at low temperature.Hydrophobic dead dye molecules (loves oil) which passes into the aqueous phase condensate on this oily part and then lead to pollution.

Staining is following a linear line may be due to the fact that paraffin intake is different during the transmission and these different coils are used inexplicitly when knitting or lubrication is nonhomogenious during the knitting.

 

SOLUTION :

Dispersion rich washing agent “AKROMER AC-3” and oil repellent “LEKOSAN KZ” is performed for 30 minutes at 90 oC in the same bath, staining is removed, but a slight change in the color of the fabric is observed.

RESULT :

1.Usage of the cotton fibers at different qualities in the yarn production,

2.Non-homogenous blendind,

3.Different dye-intake capacities of these fibers

lead to striped images on the fabric.

RESULT :

It is observed that lycra is deformed in the problematic regions.The reason of the problem is lycra is undergone to loss of resistence through thermal causes together with chemical effect.In the upcoming processes the lycra, rending, causes the problem to appear explicitly.

PROCEDURE

1.Dye dismantling is performed on the fabric, then it is dyed with a dye which has a high-affinity toward oil.If the reason of lines is knitting oil, it will have a dark color.

 

2.In consequence of examination of the line-containing region and the normal region with video-microscopy, half-loop differences are observed.This congestion in the loops where lines are present, appear striped due to the fact that it creates light-permeability difference.

 

RESULT :

The problem emerges from the knitting; platinum-needle marks lead to the striped appearance of the fabric.

RESULT :

In consequence of video-microscopic examinations, it is observed that in the problematic regions yarn looks fringy, in the damaged parts of the fiber dye intake is poor.For this reason light colored regions on the surface of the fabric looks like stain.The reason of the problem is fabric is damaged mechanically or chemically in the pre-dying process.

RESULT :

In consequence of video-microscopic examinations, the presence of foreign fiber (viscose fiber) is observed.These regions are darker in color due to the difference in dye intake capacity between viscon and cotton fiber.This fiber interfered during the yarn production process is the source of the problem.
